Course Description: This session is designed to explain basic scientific principles in easy to understand terms.  Providers will also receive lots of suggestions for child-centered experiences they can incorporate into their classrooms.  All of the suggestions are done with easily and affordably obtained materials.  Science experiences are a natural way to follow a child's lead and allow children to investigate and discover at their own pace.  The demonstrations offered will allow providers to see how to set up the experience and participate in it.  The handout will have detailed instructions on how to faciliate the experiences done in class.

Free to Literacy Connections program participants.  Cosponsored by Capital Area Successful Start.  This in an in-person class being held at the Topeka Child Care Aware office.  Masks and social distancing are encouraged.
