This professional development event will equip participants with the rationale to establish healthy nutrition practices, and to ensure active environments are the norm for young children. Participants will learn how early childhood nutrition, physical activity, screen time and breastfeeding support optimal child development. The Breastfeeding Friendly Child Care Designation application will also be introduced. Participants will leave the training with an increased knowledge and awareness of health and wellness practices, and their significant impact on young children.
