In this professional development event, participants will go beyond the book nook. They will learn strategies to enhance their environment and provide many literacy rich experiences for the children in their program. Materials and the teacher's role will be covered. Participants will also practice with self-evaluation tools so they can custom design a curriculum that works best in their program.
