Technology is part of our daily lives, but is it appropriate to use technology with young children? This class will explore the differences between technology and digital media. Participants will also learn what research and best practice standards say about digital technology usage in early childhood environments. It will highlight strategies for making technology an age-appropriate, interactive experience that goes beyond sitting in front of the computer screen.
