Course Description: Each Spring, early childhood educators across the country celebrate Week of the Young Child. This professional development event will explore ideas to help individual programs honor young children and families, as well as strategies for collaborative, community events. Emphasis will be placed on using Week of the Young Child as an opportunity for community education about the importance of the early years and advocacy.
This class is being offered virtually using Zoom. In order to enroll in this course, participants must:
- Have access to a computer or mobile device with a camera, microphone, and high-speed internet.
- Be able to receive and print a handout in PDF format that will be sent by email prior to class.
- Respond to a three-question quiz following the class before the certificate will be released.
The day prior to the course, registered participants will recieve an email with a link that will allow them to join the class.
