Course Description: Language development is central to early childhood development. Children use language in their daily efforts to communicate with others, build social relationships, express their emotions, and learn about the world. Understanding the mutual influence of the brain and experience on children's language helps early childhood professionals better support children's development.

This class is being offered virtually using Zoom.  In order to enroll in this course, participants must:

• Have access to a computer or mobile device with a camera, microphone, and high-speed internet.
• Be able to receive and print a handout in PDF format that will be sent by email prior to class.
• Respond to a three-question quiz following the class before the certificate will be released.

The day prior to the course, registered participants will receive an email with a link that will allow them to join the class.
