Course Description: Participants will learn safe food practices including sanitary preparation, meal service, and proper food storage. Participants will also learn how to prepare meals for a child who has food allergies and how to respond to an allergic reaction due to food.
This class meets 2 of the 4 hours of the annual Health and Safety Topic Requirements.
This class is being offered virtually using Zoom. In order to enroll in this course, participants must:
- Have access to a computer or mobile device with a camera, microphone, and high-speed internet.
- Be able to receive and print a handout in PDF format that will be sent by email prior to class.
- Respond to a three-question quiz following the class before the certificate will be released.
The day prior to the course, registered participants will receive an email with a link that will allow them to join the class.
