Featuring Keynote Speaker
Patricia Dischler
Morning: Before we can teach them the 3 R’s, we need to instill in our children a love of learning, problem solving techniques and positive social skills. These are the basics for further learning and the windows to a bright, imaginative and successful future! The keynote will help you to unlock your own creativity and bring out the explorer in YOU! You’ll leave inspired and ready to open the doors to a bright future for all the children in your care.
Afternoon: Participants will explore what it means to be a professional child care provider. They will learn the benefits of professionalism and some of the barriers providers face. This session will also include information about maximizing professional resources in a child care program. Participants will get dozens of ideas to make their jobs easier, create inexpensive activities and toys, and go home with a treasure trove of tricks to help with the kids, the parents and the budget!
