Transitions can be stressful times for young children and can provoke challenging behaviors. Consistent classroom schedules and established routines provide predictability, which enables children to learn. This class focuses on strategies that promote smooth transitions between classroom activities and routines, and the use of a daily schedule, one feature of a well-organized classroom.
