Elevate Early Childhood Professionals - Fort Scott

Saturday, April 20, 2024 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Join us for the Southeast Kansas Child Care Conference to Elevate Early Childhood Professionals! The day will include an inspiring keynote presentation by Cari Ebert, M.S., CCC-SLP.  Participants will also get to choose a morning and an afternoon breakout session to attend. Participants who attend the entire conference will earn 6 hours of KDHE in-service credits. Lunch will be provided, and there will be a BBQ buffet with a side salad.

The Power of Play-Based Learning

Cari Ebert, M.S., CCC-SLP is a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist in private practice in the Kansas City, Missouri area.  She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Iowa in 1993 (Go Hawkeyes!) and her Master of Science degree from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale in 1995 (Go Salukis!).

She has found her niche working exclusively with young children ages birth to five and their families.  Cari firmly believes that early intervention is the key to future success and she has dedicated her professional career to helping young children achieve their maximum potential by partnering with parents and caregivers throughout the therapy process.  Cari is a therapist, a consultant and a nationally recognized speaker who gets paid to do what she loves most...TALK!

Whether you are an early childhood educator or a pediatric therapist, you will benefit from the information provided in Cari's seminars.  She has a unique perspective that sets her apart from other presenters: she has a son with autism and apraxia, which allows her to see things not only as a professional, but also as a parent of a child with special needs.

In direct therapy, Cari embraces the coaching model of service delivery and partners with parents to empower them to help their own child develop.  When consulting with professionals, Cari provides individualized recommendations to support instructional programming for specific children. When presenting, Cari delivers evidence-based, clinically relevant information regarding the assessment and treatment of young children.

Join Cari as she explores important issues for enhancing the development of infants, toddlers and preschool age children...you'll be glad you took the time!
