This class is one in a series that uses high quality children's literature as a basis for helping young children build foundational early literacy skills. Participants will explore a variety of books by children's author, Leo Lionni, and will learn how to use the books to plan activities that support not only early literacy, but can create a developmentally appropriate curriculum in all domains.
Free to Literacy Connections program participants. Cosponsored by Capital Area Successful Start. This class is being offered virtually using Zoom. In order to enroll in this course, participants must:
- Have access to a computer or mobile device with a camera and microphone that can be on throughout class.
- Free themselves of other duties to fully participate in the class.
- Be able to receive and print a handout in PDF format that will be sent by email prior to class.
The day prior to the course, registered participants will receive an email with a link that will allow them to join the class.
