Class 1:
Rolling with the Punches (8:00 - 10:00 a.m.)
Resilience is the ability to cope and adapt following stressful events. Boosting one’s resilience not only helps them deal with everyday stress, but also empowers them to overcome traumatic events with less severe long-term effects. Class participants will cover the strategies of radical acceptance and distress tolerance to help them learn how to “roll with the punches.”

Class 2:
Understanding Children's Temperament (10:15 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.)
A child's temperament influences their style of interaction, as well as the way that he or she understands and experiences the world and the people in it. This class will assist participants in understanding the traits of the various temperaments and how adjustments can be made in your approach or environment when working with these various temperaments.
