This training will give child care providers information on developmental milestones, definitions of specific disabilities, and classroom modifications that can be made to include the child with special needs. Child care providers will also learn the limitations of diagnostic categories, and the importance of learning about the individual child. They will also learn about early intervention programs and community resources.
