Art is a way of learning. From infancy on up, children are learning about their world, how they feel about their experiences, and learning how to communicate their needs, feelings and ideas to those around them. Art experiences allow children to express these thoughts and feelings without the boundaries of language, rules and expectations that can inhibit or limit their ability to communicate. This class will explore developmentally appropriate art processes with young children and share ways to display creations to best honor young artists.
This is an online class available April 10-17, 2024. Participants can start at 9:00 a.m. on April 10 and have until 11:59 p.m. on April 17 to complete the class. Registered participants will receive an email from the instructor containing further instructions for the online course the day prior to the start of class.
